Hi! I’m Stephen Cassilo and I started ShipStrat to help businesses transform their shipping strategies from confusing and expensive, to simple, fast and reliable.

I have worked in the transportation industry for 7 years, building shipping products for Walmart and Shopify; impacting how millions of merchants position their shipping strategy to their customers.

In my career I have:

• Established and maintained personal relationships with all major domestic US carriers, both national and regional, including integrating directly with their technology stacks

• Directed the strategy and implementation of transportation products helping the largest merchants in the world increase checkout conversion via fast, cheap and reliable shipping strategies

• Leveraged package profile data analytics to redesign complex fulfillment networks and negotiate industry leading rate cards with carriers

• Interfaced with industry leading Third-Party Logistics (3PL) and Transportation Management System (TMS) providers on behalf of merchants to match merchant needs to best-in-class tech
